About Us

The 13th edition of PhDs in Logic was held in Turin on September 05-07 2022 at Campus Luigi Einaudi, University of Turin. The conference was jointly hosted by the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Philosophy and Education Science.

PhDs in Logic is an annual graduate conference organized by graduate students. This interdisciplinary conference welcomes contributions to various topics in mathematical logic, philosophical logic, and logic in linguistics. It usually involves tutorials by established researchers as well as short presentations by PhD students, master students and first-year postdocs on their research.

This edition of the conference will involve three tutorials and three seminars by established researchers and various contributed talks.

Earlier editions of the event took place in Ghent (2009), Tilburg (2010), Brussels (2011), Ghent (2012), Munich (2013), Utrecht (2014), Vienna (2015), Darmstadt (2016), Bochum (2017), Prague (2018), Bern (2019) and Berlin (2021).

• Location and Institutions involved in the organization;
• Orientative budget and fundings available to cover the expenses;
• A general presentation of how you intend to organize the conference (e.g. number of speakers, fields of research you intend to cover, etc.).
